Grace Cafe is a ministry of Arch Street United Methodist Church on Sunday Evenings. The ministry provides meals to all of the congregation’s neighbors, especially center city’s most vulnerable citizens, including those currently experiencing homelessness. On Sunday, January 31st, IBA officers and members went to Arch Street UMC for their first community service event of Spring 2016 semester. They had fun volunteering to provide, prepare and serve a hot meal (entre, vegetable and dessert) for 200-220 guests. They were also able to meet, greet and share with Grace Cafe guests during the meal. A great way to give back to the community and make a difference.
