IBA is offering a $20 dues discount for members that will apply in the following year. This means a member will only pay $50 (before deadline) or $60 (after deadline) for a year. A member is eligible for a discount by meeting these minimum attendance requirements:
- 9 GBM's each semester (Fall + Spring)
- 3 Philanthropic events each semester (Fall + Spring)
- 2 Social events each semester (Fall + Spring)
However, because this program is being implemented in Spring 2020 semester, in order to be fair to students that may have not had a chance to participate in any events the previous semester, IBA will only count attendance for events this Spring 2020 semester. The adjusted requirements will be as follows:
- 10 GBM's this semester (Spring 2020)
- 4 Philanthropic events (Spring 2020)
- 3 Social events (Spring 2020)
The first discount will be applied to the Fall 2020-Spring 2021 term dues.
This is a great way to get both money off your dues and your FDLP points completed (ALL our events have FDLP points)!
Member attendance is tracked through sign-up sheets and QR codes. A member is considered present if their name is recorded on BOTH. For example, a member is not marked present if they are on the sign-up sheet but missing from the QR code database, and vice versa.
Sign-up sheets can get lost during GBM’s and there may be technical difficulties with the Suitable app. Please seek out one of the officers at the end of meetings if a sign-up sheet or QR code is missed. We are here to help!
