Wall Street Employee to Entrepreneur

This week we welcomed David Harris, the President and CEO of the multi-mullion Claims Resolutions Corporation, Inc. Mr. Harris graduated from Villanova with a B.S. for Business Administration. Initially, he was determined to become a lawyer but realized his heart wasn’t in it. He developed an interest for the business world and set his eyes on Wall Street. From 1983 to 2012, Mr. Harris work 6 different positions, one of which he established and became President and CEO of Allied Risk Services from 1994 to 2004. After selling the business, Mr. Harris went on to found Claims Resolution Corporation(CRC) in the $5 trillion global insurance market. CRC is a third party risk management firm for many clients, including Temple University.

If there is one skill that Mr. Harris believes a student and future employee should have, it is this:

The ability to recognize, manage, and accept change. These are invaluable skills.
